… and it’s Saturday.

I could feel like heading into a hard-rock bar with $1 cover, cheap beer, and girls feeling the same way.

Then realize my body – and mind – couldn’t handle it anymore.

Nor could I probably handle being around 20yos that like $1 cover bars with cheap beer.
Or 20yo girls that feel the same way.

Sigh … but I still sometimes enjoy the music.

In my day and place at the time, that like as not often meant Ted Nugent practicing feedback.

I first encountered this toon about 6 months ago as background music for an Isle of Wight motorcyle race on youtube so I looked it up.

Turns out there is a guitar tutorial on it, complete close up of the fretting and tablature.

So I got on it like steenk on a munkee.
I can play both guitar parts and the bassline which I figured out on my own.
Picking around on the keyboard stuff too.

FWIW, for anyone interested playing guitar the is a youtube channel named Mr Tabs and they do a whole bunch of popular toons so it’s easier to learn how to play them.

Crying shame they didn’t have this stuff 50+ years ago when I started playing.

Another FWIW, I can teach ANYONE how to play this toon if they are sitting right in front of me eyeball to eyeball, in about 15 minutes.
