To make your strawberries taste better you MUST axe out ALL of the white parts and especially that nasty core that goes deep down in the middle. That nasty stuff is bitter and takes away from the natural goodness of the red. I eat strawberries and blueberries at least 300 days a year.
I throw the nasty stuff out in the front yard and the squirrels lay rubber and fistfights ensue.
MY strawberries always taste perfect.
When I was about 12 I picked a gallon of strawberries and made wine. My Dad approved. The wine was way too sweet but it fermented nicely.
Before years end I will be able to do this.
And, paint it candy apple red and it will look just like my brand new one.

Personally. I enjoy obtaining “expert” information, be it an expert or not; be it even useful or not. But then, I have the ability to let things ride if I disagree.
The site remains open to all but so far DV8, the only expert comments you’ve provided are snide remarks aimed at another commenter.
Well, I just greatly dislike it when someone posts an obvious lie and then expects to be considered some type of “expert.” Would you rather that lies be spread here, rather than be exposed?
Case in point- intentional misrepresentation of how much ammo a picture depicts when the actual TRUTH is extremely obvious.
Integrity and truth is very important to most people, and I would imagine that you feel the same way.
