Carter was a do-nothing. Biden was a puppet with others pushing Obama’s agenda. Obama did the most damage.

Krakatoa Blows“’Save democracy’ is code phrase for a club of delusional people who belong to a delusional group that does delusional things to justify their delusions.” — Wendy Williamson
James Howard Kunstler

You’ve got to wonder who at CBS-News thinks it’s a good idea to quadruple down on mendacious grandstanding when the network faces a $20-billion lawsuit from Donald Trump — for assisting Kamala Harris’s campaign (aka election interference) — while the FCC under new Commissioner Brendan Carr questions the network’s license to operate on the grounds of “news distortion” and violation of the broadcast news fairness doctrine.

Need to have more than one list. The worst list includes those that are very good at the job, but bad for America. FDR and Lincoln for example. Another list for those who were more of less incompetent like Jimmy. The best list, Washington, Coolidge, Jefferson, who else? Just throwing out ideas, could make for an interesting discussion.

“…[W]ho else?”

Jackson would be on my list.

FDR and Lincoln did indeed accomplish world and history-shaking great things. But as far as governance, that is open to question.

Trump is, as of this weekend, taking it hard on the chin. Putin is doing his best to put a wedge between the Europeans and America, as far as the peace talks with Russia are concerned. Since Putin’s legacy will be flat tires and torched tanks on the road to Kiev, he is leaking shit to cause Europe and Trump to be at odds with one another. This morning, Drudge had Trump in a Napoleon hat above the fold! They’re so obvious.

End the war now. That’s what matters. Will Trump be the greatest prez since Washington for ending this big war? Or, will he go down in history as a toad like (your view) of FDR, Lincoln and, some say, Nixon? All great war-enders.

The devil is in the details. The reason that Ukraine won’t be in NATO (although they may deserve protection and alliances) is so that Europeans can defend her without tripping Article 5. My assessment of Ukraine, at the end of their hard-fought war, is that they are cut-rate Russians. They only lack the money to be world-class corrupt, like Russia itself. They are tough, like Russians, and they never generated good momentum in their war, which is just like the forking Ivans. But, they will hand Russia a pyrrhic victory. Which is no victory at all.

Oh, I forgot. Russia is the good guy. /sarc intended.

On topic, though, Trump is the most energetic and executive president in our lifetime. Putin will walk away from this debacle with his shoes and jacket, but wonder where his socks and shirt went.

The farther back you go the better they were, like most everything else.
He that governs the least governs the best.

Note, Trump isn’t “governing” as much as he’s taking out (much over due) the trash.
