Sometimes black and white says more than color. Up around 12,500 ft in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.

Just me and a mutt.
Never lived at 12.5k in altitude but I’d give it a try.
Appears to be moving water, a stream, in the left bottom, moving toward the top right.
That would be good.
To the right of the stream is a moderate height conifer tree, and just to the right of that tree by about 20′ is where I would build a 16’x16′ cabin with the front facing to the south.
No vehicles.

10 sheeps
1 acre vegetable garden
1 acre fruit orchard
This line of thought is on my regular rotation when I sit on the front porch and stare at the wildlife.
Looks like there would be elk and mule deer aplenty. I would love to have a little cabin in a place like that.

As an example, I think that this image is pretty good…..
….But I like this one better.
