Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss Masino is steering straight into a “Bud Light” moment – learning nothing in recent years – by abandoning the restaurant chain’s half-century-old logo that symbolized nostalgia for rural Americana and the “old country store” experience.
Instead, the company has embraced the woke rebranding of many other household names.
The soulless rebranding of the new Cracker Barrel logo has sparked backlash across various social media platforms among conservatives.
The previous logo once featured an older gentleman in working-poor clothes, leaning on a wooden barrel, which historically held crackers and dry goods in general stores.
In fact, the name “Cracker Barrel” comes from how people a century ago gathered around barrels in country stores to talk, eat crackers, and share stories.
The greater understanding of the barrel is that it symbolizes community.
(Now? The barrel represents a vessel filled with hydrochloric acid, for storing dead fag bodies.)
BTW, human DNA exists in the air that is exhaled, as well as nasty diseases.

Hog Killers
=========
Looking back, I don’t see how we kept so many bellies full.
There were seven people in our five-room house, a bunch of dogs and at least two hogs, all fed from the same table.
After we ate firsts and seconds, Mom made extra gravy and splattered it on the sidewalk by the backdoor step for the dogs, and they licked it up with leftover biscuits, potatoes and bones.
In those days, dogs didn’t choke on chicken bones, and they didn’t die from chocolate.
Dogs didn’t start suffering from these things until the communists tricked liberals into buying dogs at the mall — in the mid 80’s, I think.
I remember once when I was less than 12 years old going to my friend’s farm in Sudbury in late fall. She was a tough girl from a crazy family.
Her brothers got the pigs drunk with vodka while I was there. My protests on humanitarian grounds were met with typical teenage boy scoffs and derision. The pigs went mad and crashed through the fence around their pen then charged through the vegetable garden churning up everything in their way. Nobody seemed to care much. The next day I saw my friend’s grandmother strangle some old chickens using a broomstick to twist their necks.
I grew up on a farm – a horse farm in cow country. We had chickens too. They liked to sleep in the stalls and roost on the backs of the horses. When I arrived back to my Midwest home I went straight to the stables and told our animals how lucky they all were. My dairy cow neighbors were kind to their cows.
The horses and cows got along fine, chickens too, but horses don’t much like pigs. I don’t much like people who are mean to animals. Even if they have to be slaughtered there’s a way to do it.

Saw this out there, some where, the other day and thought I’d save it to a HD for future use.
Maybe someone here can benefit from it.

Speaking of celestial sights, I saw this earlier this week as I headed out for my pre-dawn walk. That is a waning crescent moon, and immediately to the moon’s right is Venus. Above and to the right of Venus is Jupiter. If you extend the Jupiter-Venus line down all the way to just above my neighbor’s roof, you can see Mercury. To the left of the moon are the stars Castor and Pollux, which are the two brightest stars of the constellation Gemini.
wow
We haven’t eaten there in years. Wife liked the Chicken Pot Pie, I liked the Meatloaf.

I don’t mind these people as long as they do not touch my food.
That’s called, “Letting down your defenses”.
How do you know if they touched your food or not?
