Comments & spam
I just deleted over 100 spam comments from the spam bucket but for some unknown reason, a couple of them were from regular readers. If one of them hadn’t been flagged for my review, I’d have not noticed when I emptied the slop bucket 9and I probably wouldn’t have emptied the bucket for a few more weeks). The installed spam filter is good but not perfect.
It could be I’ve accidentally deleted other not-spam comments in the past, so in the future, if you post a comment and it doesn’t show, please let me know. I may need to form a white list but I’d prefer to not have to do that – I’d need your email or IP address to do so … and that’s your business to provide, not mine to require.

DT, Hopefully when people post they put their “real” email address in the box. Censoring has its good and bad parts. That said, I saw where an ICE officer was asked how things were going and he replied, pretty good.
You spelled pretti rong.
oops
I’m guilty of sometimes using fake addresses myself so I don’t complain (or check) if someone does that here. Your business … but to contact me directly (via email) would require an actual address – and certainly for me to respond to you privately.
One of the reasons I didn’t set this site up with “memberships” is to allow the reader to preserve some degree of anonymity if so desired. Note that “anonymity” is mostly a feeling in your mind rather than reality.
Outside of the chaff from protesters, they are finding bad elements, arresting them and setting them up for incarceration and an eventual deportation. Do not let the communist elements and actions cloud our minds of what is actually being accomplished.
If all of this was easy, monkeys would be doing it.
Maybe after I retire I should join ICE. I am conversationally tri-lingual, well versed in grappling, hunting, pistols, high powered rifles. Still bench 225. I’m just old.
A BIG problem for recently old people is they don’t realize they are old until they do some normal thing and end up in the emergency room.
Getting old is no big deal, everybody does it eventually, but the difficult part is realizing you ain’t young.
My 60% Rule as a given, I saw a story yesterday that a woman was following ICE around in her car in Minneapolis. They eventually stopped and gave her a warning that she was bordering on interfering in their operation and she needed to cut it out. To the surprise of no one, she persisted. They then took a scan of her face.
She now no longer has access to the TSA’s Global Entry or TSA Pre-check programs.
I found a version of the story here….

Please provide a way to contact you by email. Thank you
Contact info is at bottom of page – maybe I should put it near the top.
(good idea DT, I think I’ll do that)

What ticks me off isn’t so much what “they” do, it’s what “we” don’t do.
