You could have taken 33 west off of I-75, I’m pretty certain 33 is just north of Dayton, to 127N and then north into Michigan. It’s a much more relaxed and scenic drive, and you’d also would’ve had a chance to stop at Annie Oakley’s grave just off of 127. I hate I-75, unless it’s the run from the Mack up to the Sault.

I was trying to take 23N to Findlay but too much surface traffic (and Columbus) for a “destination” trip instead of “journey” and where I’m going is just off 75. 127 has its own issues. (2 bros do the “127 Garage Sale” every year). I wanted to get up to Copper Harbor this trip but …

I-75 was the expressway of my pre-adult driving. Grandparents lived in Dayton; I-75 Detroit-Dayton was a common drive.

I have visited Buffalo Bill’s grave.
