I don’t know what levers of Power allowed the name of an otherwise completely unremarkable Susan Rice to be elevated in the American consciousness. I don’t care. She and her name are a manifestation of the evil that has taken hold in our land since the un-vetted advent of the self proclaimed Lightbringer. She, like her sponsor, has no idea, nor does she care, what it means to be an American. I believe that she and her name and her handlers and all of her associates should be extirpated from the American community with extreme prejudice. (DT: Please feel free to not-publish, or un-publish, this if it crosses over the line.)

Nope – you’re OK. Comments don’t cross the line unless they get personally antagonistic to me or other readers. I applaud you on your restraint; I tend to favor public execution of the lightbringer crowd with the only question being hanging or guillotine. Or possibly trebuchet.

It’s us or them – there is no in-between.

Check out the Amazon blurb (if you can stomach it) at https://www.amazon.com/Obama-Greatest-President-History-Everything-ebook/dp/B005UD1GWI

“Oh, but Barack Obama was no mere man. He was a paragon of intelligence and civilized society. A savior to the world’s depressed. A lightbringer. A genius thinking thoughts the common man could never hope to comprehend. And his words — his beautiful words read from crystal panes — reached down to our souls and told us all would be well. With the simple act of casting a ballot for Barack Obama, we could make the world an immeasurably better place — a world of peace, of love, of understanding, of unicorns, of rainbows, of expanded entitlements. This was his promise. And now, having had him as president for more than two years, we can say without reservation that he has delivered all his promises and more and is the best president this country — or any country — has ever had or could even imagine to have.”

I was conjuring up a long diatribe to add to what you wrote, but I just can’t. The fact that that animal has infected the halls of american history is more than I can bear. 51 years ago I almost died for this country and naively believed it was the right thing to do. Half a century later I believe I was supremely cheated, used, and thrown over the side of the garbage scow.

I was a wizard not warrior but I felt the same when working in black holes back when. Warriors are at the pointy end of the spear; wizards make the spear. Nowadays? Why?

I was chided recently that my sarcasm detector was not working. That Amazon site hit it like a hammer, ’cause it’s chirping like crazy now. That was a hoot!

Ghost, my hair was almost back down to my shoulders by the time you started serving your tour.

DT, back in the day we might have passed each other in the Wizards’ hallway of cyber-locked doors.

Sooper Sekret Skwirrel Hangouts – “Area 51” being the most famous even if it doesn’t – or does it? – exist.
