What a wonderful soul. An artist in glass-work. A devout believer in the Lord; heaven was brightened when God called her home.

ghost – I had to pull your comment.
It deserves a separate post.
What’s the story on the lady above?
Just a family friend who lived off arts and crafts in a small town. She did some amazing glass work. Almost inspired me to follow in her footsteps but it didn’t take.
Cynic I am, she was one of the most joyful people I’ve ever known. Was quite content with her life; never wanted to “make it big”. Kept her work small and only “advertised” by word of mouth. I miss visiting her and her cubby-hole shop. She passed many years ago.
Probably the happiest people are those that truly enjoy doing their work, and do it for that reason rather than for the money.
Ghost one time wrote something that really stuck with me. Had to do with all the knowledge, skills and thoughts people have and where does all that go when they pass? I believe he said all that had to go somewhere, into the ether, somewhere. I pondered that for quiet some time and do agree that it simply cannot just no longer exist. We do see it in art, or a written poem or story passed on, but that is only a latent fingerprint of those thoughts and experiences. I finally concluded that all those thoughts talents and experiences go back to our Creator, who originally gave them to us.
Cool that you remembered that.
I have some new thoughts on that topic because I had a stroke since I wrote that. It caused me to rethink somethings, and filled in some blank spots I had been harboring, pertaining to collective consciousness.
Yes, in a way, everyone is one….
