Even some of the long running old time bluegrass festivals have been somewhat overrun by the psycho weird woke crowd, unfortunately. For many years we’d attend the Wheatland festival. Not so much anymore.

THE bluegrass festivals are firing up about 2 miles northeast of here. Could here em over there this past Sat night while sittin’ on the porch. Something going on over there every weekend all summer.

TICKS!
======

The ticks are out hot n heavy this year.
My wife is terrified of them and avoids going in the woods, now til late fall.
They aren’t very bothersome to me but still, I have picked 3 teeny ones off me.

I assault the ticks and all other vermins with my Burgess propane fogger loaded with Black Flag. I also spray the yard heavily. And I lather the current required salve on my mutt Shannon.

Apparently there has been a new infestation statewide from the Lone Star Tick. Nasty little devils. Talked to a dood today that told me last year he and his son got bit by the LST last year and they dam near died. They survived but both are now allergic to red meat. Can you believe that? He said if he even just tastes red meat of any kind he gets deathly ill almost instantly.

Jayziss, no more meat? Just go ahead and shoot my ass in the head and get it over with.
