I notice the engine is missing
A not-quite-so-old mine site. 1940s-1960s; maybe into the 1970s. A fair number of abandoned vehicles laying around. Off to the right is a shaft that’s been fenced off.

Looks like an ex-military GMC. Used to see those around on farms and well drilling rigs.
Look hard in the background of the truck. It appears to be an old gas station pump.
It looks like it has been left in a field of lavender. I know that’s not the case because it’s Nevada but the colors make the photo quite beautiful even though the subject of the photo, abandonment, is a sad one.
Don’t take my word for it, because I’m the last guy to ask about plants, but my guess would be a Desert Sage. It too has a purple bloom.
