little girl in a
grown-up dress.
little girl, you
don’t see yourself.
little girl with your
hair un-done.
momma cries ’cause
she sees you,
sees the way
you want to be.
and she sees what
you don’t want,
momma’s little girl.

Life is going way too fast. For me and wife this poem could have been yesterday and yet in reality it was 55 years ago.
That you can relate, Joe, pleases me no end.
Perfectly captures one of those unforgettable moments in family life.
Daughter doesn’t want to listen. Momma keeps worrying.
thank you, SK.

There’s a big, fat, juicy Snow Muuun tonight.
So the snow will sparkle 🙂
Here in MT we have no snow! A dusting in the high mountains. They are lying about the snow depth at high altitudes. Here is the link to our highway cameras. Check it tomorrow. https://app.mdt.mt.gov/atms/public/cameras
If I could share what Ohio has, I would.
