Stratigraphy

Sometimes I find the patterns in the rocks more interesting than the rocks themselves.
Sand and mud stones – can be indicators of potential oil strata. In and of itself? Not much economic value; plenty of visual value though. Those bushes at the base are 3-4 feet in diameter.

Are you ready for some…..

!!! ICE CREAM !!!
Tomorrow, 19 July is National Ice Cream Day
YAAAAAYYYYY
At the store the other day my wife snagged a Prairie Farms “Moose Tracks” and I got a Turkey Hill “Orange Cream Swirl”, orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream.
We’ll be nom nom nom’n about 2pm on the front porch.
At the risk of being accused of being an ice cream snob, and allowing you to like what you like, your Orange Cream Swirl is not an ice cream, but instead a “Frozen Dairy Dessert”.
Google AI tells me that…..
As for me, there is hardly a week of the year that I don’t celebrate National Ice Cream Day at least once.
You’re absolutely correct az and my wife and I briefly mentioned that in the store. We’ve been on a thing for sometime about streamlining and getting rid of the fake. I really wanted orange sherbet but she mentioned the Turkey Hill and I got wobbly, then I caved. Basically, I back slid, I curled under, I wussed out, call it whatever you want.
What I dislike the most about the frozen dairy dessert is the stringiness of it. But yeah, when the weather warrants, and sometimes when it doesn’t, I get in a cold dessert product mood.
