I have been camping in various Marriott properties through CA for most of the month. Five days coming up in UT next week that will chalk me up for 17 hotel stays for the month of AUG. I am completely tired of eating out and found a nice little grocery store close by for chow.

I did the motel-life-for-work routine for the last 2½ years of my career. Pay was very good and made it worth it at the time but even 5-star places are only bed, bath, and amenities – just another hotel room.
I did my heavy traveling in the ’80s. Air travel was different then
I don’t miss it at all.
