I happened to be at an airport the day this airline ceased operations - BWI as I recall; March 28, 2019. I watched them tow this plane off to the side someplace and there it sat ... waiting for me to take this picture. Apparently, this plane had been repossessed by the lessor. It appears this aircraft ended up at Turkish Airlines.

All WOW flights were cancelled with no advance warning and thousands of stranded passengers were advised to book flights with other airlines.

WOW was an Icelandic carrier; it's collapse was enough to affect the Icelandic economy.

Probably close to if not the last time I boarded one of these flying cigar tubes.
