Well … It Wasn’t My Intent
but they can’t all be gems.
Update: I should clarify. I refer to the previous post. It appears it upset some and that was not my intent.

Looks like the world is on fire.
What wasn’t your intent?
The previous post. What I had intended and what was interpreted by others was far different than I expected.
Speaking for myself, I was not upset. You offered food for thought.
Never a bad thing. Mental calisthenics.
“food for thought”
Yes. That was my intent.
That it did.
Especially Jeans comment.
Her comment caused me to reflect, and look inside.
What’s important?
Right now my life is as perfect as it will likely ever be, and I didn’t know that til I read your post and Jeans comment. I did, but I didn’t…know what I mean?
I’m 70 man, I’m never gonna set the world on fire, I’m never going to be wealthy or famous. I am who I am, so my goals now are different than they were.
Before, I was very busy all the time climbing that “ladder”, taking very little time to smell the roses.
Now, contentment is my goal. I’ve achieved about 90% of that goal. The other 10% is probably unachievable – there is no such thing as perfection in this life.
So, while your post didn’t harvest the response you were expecting, it did cause a stir and that was a good thing.
Now, do it again!
We could easily say you are famous here 🙂
Well done, senor.
That previous post was good. And then the comments made it better.
Talk like that makes a person not want to go to Paradise or their Eternal Rest, or whatever, after life on Earth is over. Okay, so, what then?
