Good story, DT. Don’t know if you are familiar with Tom Ryan of
Following Atticus fame. He now has 2 dogs he travels with during
the winter, mostly in the West. They often meet up with Bison and
he has trained his dogs (they are never on leash) to be perfectly
still and just enjoy them.

No, it wasn’t me, who used to live there. Nor was it our son who does still live there. I’m talking about Cape Coral, FL. More proof that dumb asses can live anywhere. No doubt this wipe is an asshole everywhere he goes. Which is why non-wipes like me just stay TF home.

No Buffalos here but there’s ample other wildlife that we enjoy. I would like to see me a buffalo in person though. I ate a buffalo burger one time but it was more “gamey” than I bargained for. Almost like eating liver. <shiver>

Our local Costco carries ground bison in their meat case.

Have you tried it?
I’ve seen it in the store, a bold purple color.
The burger I had was in the pub “Pine Room Tavern” and my brother talked me into it. He told me he tried it and it was good, meantime he ordered a fish sando. Laughed like an idiot when I bit into it and told me he never tried it. I coulda beat his ass.

I have a vague memory of having tried it, but we don’t buy it often. Of course, it is a little pricier than ground beef, but comparing one burger to another, in my view, ground beef and ground bison are very similar. If we’re having burgers, we buy ground beef, but the vast majority of our ground meat consumption (like maybe 80%) is something entirely different: Ground turkey.

Had one at the gift shop in Garden of The Gods.
It was a little dry, but not too bad.
A little Lee & P fixed it.

Since its maiden flight in 2021, the first prototype has completed 170 flight hours, with more than 500 takeoffs and landings.

The second version will be 440 pounds lighter, thanks to a more advanced composite construction method.

Its small aircraft engine from Adept has FADEC (full-authority digital engine controls) that regulate engine performance for easier flying.

“This will climb and fly faster than the first prototype and we’ve put in a larger cockpit,” says Zajac.

The AirCar will also include Garmin avionics and is autopilot ready.

Its flight range will be about 620 miles, he explained, and about 500 miles on the ground.

After being tested for 50 hours, it will be eligible to receive an EASA airworthiness certificate, which allows Klein Vision to put it on the market in Europe.

Long-term plans include distribution in Asia and North America.

The price will range between $800,000 and $1 million.

This was the warning flyer you used to get as you entered Yellowstone. I thought it was so good- funny and effective- that I kept it in my scrap book.
