Yesterday I offered a link To Kunstler’s 4th of July column, though amusing to read, is essentially hope porn. This article defines very clearly what used to be celebrated on the 4th, but no longer exists. The original structure of America began it’s death rattle in 1860 and has been buried forever since 1865. At the bottom of this article there are suggestions for how to celebrate the entire month of July but truly it might take another civil war to kill off the loyalists to a central mother government. https://www.abbevilleinstitute.org/what-are-we-celebrating-on-july-4/
Yes ghost, ALL should read this. It’s one of the best articles I’ve ever encountered describing how America was stolen from the People. Watching so many crying and singing, “I’m Proud to Be an American” never ceases to amaze me for the surreal reality of happy and ignorant slaves joined hand-in-hand like the tiny creatures in Whoville. How can people believe they have Constitutional rights when no one is allowed to own property, when you have to rent from the government every possession you purchased via permits and taxation? The US Citizen was created in 1868 because the Constitution had strict limitations on taxation and they needed to invent a new citizenry that could be taxed to death with no Constitutional rights protecting them. And we know people suicide themselves when the Flying Monkeys torment them to that point. Mission accomplished. They didn’t free the black people and recognize their sovereign State citizenship. They made them citizens of DC, a bankrupt corporation, and mere residents of corporate franchises titled NY, PA, VA, and in my case NM, but I live in a real place called New Mexico and I’ve notified the State Department that I know what they did. If everybody knew what they did this shit would end before nightfall. There wouldn’t be enough rope to hang the current jail keepers.

OK, who blew off some fingers last night?
Set anybody’s roof on fire?
Get arrested?
Wasted in the lawn chair and woke up at 4am covered in skeeta bites?

Now you know the condensed version of my history with the 4th of July.

Yesterday I posted Kunstler’s 4th of July article which was amusing but that’s about all. Unless there begins an understanding what the 4th was originally celebrating then we’re barking up the wrong tree. The foundation of America began crumbling in 1860 and has been swept into a pile of rubble since 1865. https://www.abbevilleinstitute.org/what-are-we-celebrating-on-july-4/

I have a volunteer plant that popped up in my garden. He is trying to trick me into thinking it is a chili. It is not. I am going to let it grow a little more and give it hope, then pull it up and let it dry out dead in the sun.

So DT… what about that article regarding the original purpose of the 4th?
Verboten?
I posted this article describing what’s been lost since 1865 regarding what Americans actually used to celebrate every July 4th. I waited about an hour and posted it again and but both times received a message “comment awaiting review” or something like that. It never showed up. I’ll try it again because this is worth reading. https://www.abbevilleinstitute.org/what-are-we-celebrating-on-july-4/
I just posted it again and have ” ! Awaiting for approval” in orange letters on my screen. You’ve got a log jam somewhere or everything is simply vaporizing into the ether.
Must have vaporized into the ether, I don’t see anything on the admin site suggesting something waiting for approval. Try emailing it to dt@newamericandigest.org and I’ll get it posted. That’s the best way to get something to me for posting anyway.
I’m curious – how did you submit it?
Comments may get held for approval but only because of number of live links, not length. I get notifications if a comment is held back. Everything posted by others either comes via a comment that seems suitable for an independent post (my discretion unless specifically requested it be a post) or an email requesting an article be posted. I believe I’ve only rejected one and even the author agreed that Gerard would likely have rejected it as well.
—— Oh, wait a minute. I just found several of your messages in spam. That’s weird – you’re on the white list. They will soon appear. I have to play with the filter settings a bit
Whatever else you’ve found hidden away there’s no reason to post it. All I wanted to do was share this excellent article describing what was originally 13 sovereign States, countries unto themselves, represented only by an office in DC that administered the most basic tools needed to serve them. The new country was called united States or even States united as Jefferson played with the theme… not The United States of America. However, it looks like over nine hours now and my original post has only recently appeared. I see technical difficulties on the internet and a long long time of American ignorance of the basic and original intent of our nation and what freedom could truly be. It’s a good article.

That photo reminds me of the lyrics from what was one of my favorite songs, Rippling Water:
…you make me feel fine,
warm as the mountain sunshine,
on the edge of the snow line,
in a meadow of columbine…
Cut the telephone line…

Thanks Tom, just read it…and will save it to HD for future re-reading.
All people should read, and understand that writing. I believe the understanding of it will become more critical in the future.

??? Very little is verboten here. Not sure what article you speak of.
As far as I know, Independence Day should be July 2 but it appears some people were 2 days late submitting paperwork. July 4, 1776 was a Thursday.
