I’ve noticed all of the flags raised to only half-mast lately and was wondering for whom this was honoring. I actually thought on Monday this week this can’t be for Cheney… it’s got to be someone else. Yep… it was for Cheney. One of my favorite commentators James Kunstler has devoted his Friday item to summarizing the gathering of warlocks and ghouls that gathered yesterday for Cheney’s send-off. Good reading…

A stake thru the heart, yes. About 8 or 10″ in diameter and 12′ long set 4′ in the ground and piled high all around with brush and logs soaked with JP-4 and set afire with napalm dropped by one or preferably all of the pilots who lost buddies flying airstrikes during the wars that asshole got us into whilst mini-guns in helicopters crewed by Army and Marine aviation who lost buddies the same way hosed the crowd of, as Tom so quaintly put it, ghouls gathered to see him off. Obviously, I had no use for the sumbitch either nor all them sumbitches he called friends.
