Next year we’re finally going to zero this thievery out of the equation.

Maybe we’ll both see if we can get on food stamps and any other “free stuff” out there. Just because.

I’ve been paying income tax since 1970 at age 15, and double rate SS, as self employed, since 1986. I’m done with it.

Bravado
=======
If we burn our wings
Flying too close to the sun
If the moment of glory
Is over before it’s begun
If the dream is won
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the cost

The local bond issue got voted down last week by a slim margin. Got my property tax appraisal today. My house is suddenly worth $40K more than last year. Bastards.

Tell them you want to see the justification calculations for the difference. Then, find out where the appraiser lives….

I don’t know about Kansas, but in Texas, law allows up to 10% for raising taxes. It cause me to protest my taxes every year, and it lowers them, but calls for a hearing with the appraisal district. That is an interesting experience, and makes me wonder about the mental acuity of many of the county citizens.

It’s called millage rate and it is set by law. However, in the past few years the gov’t criminals have discovered ways to circumvent the rules. As the Trump noose tightens, sending more things back to the states, I expect more and more of this stuff will be going on. Out here in ruralville we keep our pitchforks sharpened and torches soaked.
