I work in the defense industry and am fairly certain there are efforts being made to counter the hypersonic missiles from Russia, China and Iran.
Iran has been killing Americans in that region for a few decades plus. They continue to chant Death to America! I will repeat that I take that at face value. Obama gave them a pallet of cash which apparently did not appease them. Trump unleashed on them Tomahawks and some bunker busters. I suspect the latter will be more effective in the short and medium term. Crazies like Hamas and those in charge in Iran understand one thing, force.
Democrats are predictable as oncoming gas after a plate of refried beans. If Trump had said we should leave Iran alone, Democrats would have tried to impeach him for not bombing an obvious threat. If Trump said “Do not drink your urine”, Democrats would line up in masse and tell you to drink your own piss to save democracy.

I’m working my way through Kings ll, which is much like Kings l, with tribes in the middle east putting the screws to each other. Alliances and treaties, being made, then broken when someone gains too much advantage. Kill, rape, pillage, child sacrifices. We can condemn such short sightedness, but are we much better today in the West with gubmint paid abortions, queer lifestyles pushed in public schools and other normalized sexual perversion?
