Why is this even an issue? Why should it need an executive order in the first place? … and what do states gain by insisting boys play on girls teams?
There must be money involved …
Having been one, I understand what teenage boys get out of it … having matured (maybe), I understand what girls lose from it.
This crap started with LBJ’s Civil Rights Act and went crazy with Title IX in 1972. Then lawsuit upon lawsuit.
Now here we are.
Time to bring back a bit of discrimination and segregation back to our world.

Having been one, I don’t understand what teenage boys get out of it.
I can’t even get a millimeter of my brain around it.
Why would any dood “pretend” to be a female?
In the 60’s and 70’s any dood that pretended to be a gurl in a public school would get his ass beat daily, by other doods in the school, until he stopped pretending.
He would have been considered a sissy and would have been hounded mercilessly.
Back then, if a dood pretended so it would have been accepted for it was, a mental problem, and the school authorities would have alerted the proper legal authorities to deal with it. Regardless, the mentally debilitated student would have been removed from the environment, because it would be a distraction to other students.
In each public school there is ONE person that has the final say on things and in the schools that allow doods to pretend to be gurlz that person should be found and ridiculed, ostracized, threatened, and if that didn’t make them straighten up, severely beaten about the head and shoulders with a blunt metal like object resulting in bone fractures and open and bleeding wounds.
Also in each public school there are other people that constitute a group of supervisors to that ONE person. Each of those supervisors need to be hunted down too and removed from gov’t employ and banned for life, and placed on a registry for people that abuse children.
Is there anybody, anybody at all, in charge of even 1 square inch of this country?

You didn’t want to sneak into the girls locker room? Now they can do so “legally” just by claiming it, not doing it.
But like you, my education is of the 60s … when education was more important than feelings and “We don’t care” was a valid response to “My feelings are hurt” (and “Wait until your father gets home” was a meaningful threat. And so were swirlies by your peer group.

2nd thought: the bill will be high to pay for the decor, the food won’t fill the plate – it may not even be pleasing but it will look pretty, a 30% tip is probably already added to the bill, biscuits and gravy is not on the menu
They spent too much time and way too much money applying an antique finish to the ceiling and its exposed plumbing. There must have been an alternative and attractive way to cover it all… perhaps with cloth or wallpapered paneling.
Looks ok to me. I went to the Black Sheep Social Club in Cedar Rapids last month. Warehouse turned into a restaurant with similar painted open ceiling ductwork. A bit pricey, but plenty of chow and it was really good.
Earlier this week I went to a trade show in Smashville TN. I was told by my boss to go to this show kind of late and the hotel the show was at was sold out. No werry. I picked a marriott property that was reasonably priced in the area and walking distance from the trade show hotel. It was advertised as an apartment rented by the night. Hmmm. No front desk, no cleaning lady, no apartment employee I could see in four days there. Zero, cero, nunca, nada, wala. After I made reservations on line, I got a code sent to my phone to get into the building and another code to get into my room. The business model is probably like Wally World self-check out. Take the labor out of it due to gubmints insisting on $20/hr. minimum wage. I am diverging from my point, but to get back to that, this building was an old warehouse in downtown Nashville and turned into apartment/hotel rooms. All the bathroom, kitchenette, flooring, etc was completely modern, but the ceiling bared water pipes, rough concrete and sheet metal duct work, all painted white. Good enough for me. It also had large windows viewing the local downtown area. Some dude took a squirt against a wall one early morning. Meh, no big deal.
