That was 63 years ago and look how much has changed, and dare I say, much of it not so good.
Still, we make our own little world here on the compound where we live like free, honest folks, and the rest of the world be dammed if that’s how they prefer…
Excellent Mary Ann! However, someone needs to nail 6″ high extensions on the legs of that bread table. That poor gurl bent over that thing made my back hurt!
But yeah, a stout slice of that crunchy crust, oven warm bread slathered in butter and honey. nom nom nom
ghost, made mine hurt too. I think it doesn’t hurt her because she’s done it for 60 years as a regular thing. Also, to knead bread like that you need (no pun intended) to be able to push down and stretch the dough.
