I personally think all this “belief” stuff is utter nonsense.
Holding “belief” over reality is a silly notion not to be taken seriously by serious people.

Having said that, believe what you want and as long as you don’t involve me in it we can get along. Keep in mind that my idea of getting along is that you leave me alone.

I will not entertain mans mental weakness at my own sacrifice. Muslims, or anyone else? They hold no special place. It is my responsibility alone to supervise the conduct of all others in that they behave as I see fit. When they do not, I must act accordingly as the situation requires.

This means constant surveillance and it is tiresome, but that is the nature of human contact. No one gets along with anyone continuously. Even my wife of almost 42 years would grind my gears if we were around each other all the time. All people need their space.

So, from a lifetime of observation, it is my choice to isolate myself from others and their abrasiveness while simultaneously creating distance so as to facilitate observation. In other words, if a muslim or anyone else tries to grate me they have to go well out of their way to do so and therefore by their mere presence have broadcast their intentions.

The short version is, if you are unknown and you show up around here you will most likely be contained or killed outright no questions asked.

As far as a national consensus as DT has outlined? I am oblivious to such a thing as it is elusive in reality. When the muslim is standing there trying to behead my wife where is the nation? Sort of like the idea that when seconds count the police are only minutes away. As a human it is your responsibility alone to safeguard your existence in all ways.

Bottom line. Regardless of how the state plays out in any regard it is up to me to make all the decisions in my own life and I will never settle for less.

FWIW, we live fairly remotely here in the deep forest of a county of less than 15,000 people, yet, less than 1/4 mile from our compound I have seen with my own bare assed eyes what would normally be considered a muslim. A presumably female, dressed head to toe in draped black cloth, talking on a cellphone standing along the road at a residential mailbox. My further info and intel on this subject is limited but I am alerted and keep a constant eye in that regard. And we have been actively reconning possible places to relocate to – places farther from the infringing humanity and it’s inherent baggage.

Ghostsniper, what you said here, “Having said that, believe what you want and as long as you don’t involve me in it we can get along. Keep in mind that my idea of getting along is that you leave me alone.” in my opinion does not reflect the essence of your writing. You do not hold back which I am positive readers appreciate. You do not mince words and you are usually spot on. It has become the norm in America to let evil do its thing as long as it is not at one’s doorstep. Not only is at our doorsteps, it is in our homes via Tv, radio, internet, etc. As I said, those two sentences, in my opinion do not reflect what I see in your character. That is a good thing.

Ghostsniper, You do not pull punches. You are very straightforward, factual and do not demonstrate any tendency to write your opinion “softly”. You do not come across as one to wave the white flag nor are you one to sit and watch the kettle boil over and do nothing. You can stir a pot with the best of them with educated facts, light hearted humor and I am sure a wink or two at the screen. You are just plain good at what you do and you do not resemble a person who has the attitude of “leave me alone”. America needs more people like you and less people with the just leave me alone attitude.

“…I’m a bit hard-core; I’d have no objection if Muslims in the US were deported to Muslim countries. We should not accept any refugees from Muslim countries; they are not able to follow the oath of citizenship (speaking somewhat tongue-in-cheek as Mrs DT comes from a Muslim country … although she is not Muslim and is baptized Lutheran.)…”

Deporting an entire religion would be difficult….there are Americans who are Muslim after all. I also chafe a bit at the argument against Muslims with regard to their treatment of women, typically expressed as “They keep their girls from being educated and their women dressed in burkas.” There are sects in both Christianity (Amish) and among the Jews (Orthodox) who do the very same thing without drawing the same complaint.

With that said, there is still something about Islam that makes it incompatible with America. I would certainly agree to deport first or second generation Muslims from Arab or African countries. At some point, we’re going to have to recognize that we’re in a Reverse Crusade, and once we’ve acknowledged that, decide what we’re going to do about it.

Islam is not a religion. It is a murderous political ideology whose stated purpose is the conquest of mankind through the use of terror.
It is utterly incompatible with modern western culture.

Exactly-we have too many people in civilized countries that are ignorant, or have a “can’t happen here” attitude, of Islam’s history.

Tolerance for the sake of tolerance is not a virtue. A stand must be taken and defended.
