  • In 2006, Hollywood produced United 93, and I was encouraged to watch it by a number of people. I never have because my professional nightmares were already vivid enough.
  • And after October 7th, the Israelis have floated a 45 documentary of all the horrors of that day. I am convinced without feeling the need to see exactly what monsters they are.
  • And here, I will trust you that the British have allowed their women and children to be abused in the worst sorts of ways. For me, reading a report on the matter will not make me think any less of the gangs furthering these crimes or of the British governments who have been looking the other way.

I looked at the link you provided as I had never heard of that movie. No I don’t need to get out more, I need to get out less. My comment is directed at the 2nd commenter on that link, a “b_chocolate_2004.

She said this:
“This movie was a good movie to give you an idea of what it was really like for those people and what their families went through and what they knew.”

No it does not, not even close. There was prolonged unimaginable horror in that aluminum tube and a mere 2 dimensional movie is incapable of dealing with that.

I saw part of an interview with the actor Val Kilmer one time and he was speaking of the training actors must go through in preparation for any given role. He was specifically talking about the part in the movie “Tombstone” where his character, Doc Holliday, kills Johnny Ringo. Kilmer asked the interviewer, “Do you know what it feels like to kill a man? Well with the training I received, and Michael Biehn performance, I do.”

No Val, you do not. And b_chocolate doesn’t know what it was like in that plane.

These people have allowed a false reality to take over their minds and they are the first to fold when reality bites them in the neck.

I remember seeing an old movie poster one time about a 1950’s scary movie and in big scary letters it said something like, “Just keep telling yourself, “It’s only a movie”.”

Now there are people walking around out there that have been convinced reality is less or more than it is and crushed when they find out the truth.

I’m taken with this little crib. So much so that I have carefully drawn it in autocad and I’m going to build it next spring. It will have a small solar panel and some subtle interior and exterior lighting. Then I’m going to mount it on a pedestal way down in the forest behind our house. I have a trailer for my riding mower so it will be easier to get it down there.
