Depression

For those of you who believe – and even those who don’t – Jean will need your prayers or best wishes tomorrow. May she return here soon.
Depression
is not
just another bad mood.
it is
day after day after day after day
talking myself out of
dying.
But not today.

She has my prayer.
Good luck in all of your life Jean.
I was touched by depression in my 20’s. Not a depression of my own, but of a roommate’s who went on to kill himself. The circumstances of his death left me to find his body on an Easter morning.
I am no expert here, but if you’re considering suicide because you feel alone against all the troubles life sends at you, please understand that you are never alone. Those troubles you face don’t go away with your death….they get transferred to those around you.
Reach out to your family, friends, church or professional help. Share your feelings. Both you and those to whom you seek counsel will be better for it in the long run.
Praying for you, Jean. Azlibertarian has some very good advice.
Wishing Jean all the best.
Her way with words always makes me smile as I read them.
Jean needs to check in, lend us some of her words.
Hey Jean, can I lure you with some fajitas?
I’m on a restricted diet for a bit, GS.
Will see what I can do with offering words.
OK, OK, you can leave the gluten encrusted tortilla’s out!
