Liberals Rage In Idaho
Headline (Gateway Pundit): “Liberals are Raging After Idaho Bar Offers Free Beer for a Month to Anyone Who Helps ICE Identify and Deport Illegal Aliens“
Not that too many care about liberals or illegals. The bar is doing a booming business.
The Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, is offering a whole month of free beer to anyone who assists U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in identifying and deporting illegal immigrants from the state.
The saloon’s bio [also] proudly declares it as the “Birthplace of Heterosexual Awesomeness Month” and sells merchandise with slogans like “Make America Straight Again.”
And, as I drift off topic …
Eagle being a semi-suburb of Boise; it’s also the “richest” per capita city in the state (“city” hereabouts being over 5,000 people). Eagle is considered one of the “bluer” cities in the state (#5) with about 46% voting blue and just over 50% voting red.
There are 34 cities in the state; nine (including Eagle) being in the Boise metro area (or 13 depending on definition of metro area)
Only one city in Idaho has a D majority; Hailey, “home to the stars” near the Sun Valley/Ketchum resort area with 67% blue. Moscow (college town) is #2 with just under 50% blue.
The 10 most conservative cities each have over 75% voting red; #1, Preston, over 85%; the least red, Hailey, only 30%.
Idaho is about 2½ times larger than Indiana with a total population being slightly less than Indianapolis metro, a bit less than ½ being in Boise metro.

For those curious, I meet friends for breakfast every so often near that little bump a bit SE of “Illinois”. Boise proper is near that bump on the Indiana/Illinois border.
You got that right DT. For a reasonably priced view similar to that in my backyard I’d pack my shit immediately.
Ya know, this country is so fragmented now that the idea of red/blue states, counties, cities, is mostly meaningless. Drop it all the way down to base level, where ya live. What diff does it make to live in a red state/county/city if your next door neighbors are flaming communists?
This whole thing will need to be taken apart down to the molecular level and all the trash discarded. Not deported. Not incarcerated. Disposed of.
Not from the top level (DJT and Co.) where everything takes forever and costs trillions. Not from the state level where it’s not much diff. But from the neighborhood level where the OODA loop lives and breathes. Where actions can be directly observed, methods can be deployed, problems will be solved.
Remember hearing about the war in 1860-65 where it was something about neighbor against neighbor, brothers killing brothers? THAT level. Yes.
Everything going on now is the just the lead up to that eventuality.
There really is no other way.
For that particular location, look up Crouch (pop 190), Garden Valley (pop 400), or Lowman (pop 47). Up the north fork, look up Cascade (pop 1000) or Donnelly (pop 250). McCall (pop 4300) is a bit touristy but also beautiful country.
Salmon (pop 3200) on the Salmon River is a place worth looking at as well.
Closer in to Boise (shopping, medical), you can be out of the city in the wilderness within about 30 minutes. Bear, wolf, elk, deer, lion, moose, gold country (Idaho City – pop 500. I promised to do a post about Idaho City, I need to get on that)
My family had the potential for brother killing brother but they both survived. I know nothing about how they got on after the war. They are not buried in the same cemetery but that may have nothing to do with the war.
My neighbors here may lean more “right” than I do.

I closed out on a BIG project today that had been sticking in my craw for about two years. I’m celebrating privately and alone right now. Yes, adult beverages are involved.
Well, ghost gave me a nudge so I’ll say a few words regarding left/right blue/red. I’m on acreage out in Santa Fe County about 10 miles from one of the most liberal enclaves that exist. Not as bad as Portland or Seattle but only because the population here is so small. I’ve got really beautiful views and can drive into wilderness in just a couple of minutes. The snowcapped mountains are visible from my bedroom window. Physical nature in northern New Mexico is amazing… it’s only people who suck.
I’ve got neighbors and I invited about 35 households to my place for an HOA meeting in 2021. The 2020 meeting got called off because of the “pandemic” which I place in parenthesis because I didn’t believe it for even one minute. The emailed message went out, “Who would like to offer their house for the meeting?” I replied to everyone, “C’mon over to my place! And now that everybody’s been vaxxed you don’t have to wear a face mask.” The hatred and curses that spewed forth from my computer screen blew back my hair. However, I was laughing as my neighbors called me “racist” even though we’re all white here. I was called “science denier” and “anti-vaxxer” and “misogynist.” I was called everything but “child molester.”
So I wrote back… “Hey everybody, wait a second! Don’t you all love going to the restaurant? Even though you know there’s a DEADLY airborne virus gonna kill you, you go to the restaurant and stand there with your mask on in the DEATH ZONE while they fetch your menus. Then, once you’re seated you take off the face mask because everybody knows there’s no virus down there. That’s the science! So once you’re at my house and everybody is seated will the face masks come off?” Even MORE hatred and vitriol came forth. These people, my neighbors, wanted to kill me. The meeting was switched to a zoom call and I didn’t participate.
There’s a difference between red and blue, liberal and conservative. But when everyone obeys government blindly, stupidly, then they’ve morphed into an undistinguishable blob. To throw away all of your rights and make obedience the highest virtue? Now you’re all the same. You ALL suck. It’s un-American to obey and trust government. So I wave if someone waves at me but I don’t hang out with anyone. As for this post here? I live in my own private Idaho.

I am a very average person in most categories, per pre-college test scores and other over time. I am OK at math, writing, reading, etc. The only thing I scored very high on was abstract thinking. I am a process person and like to take complex actions and break them down to the most simple and logical solution. I commonly use Gantt charts to help visualize processes, groove on Theory or Constraints and enjoy continual process improvement at the factory I work in. Some things complex to others are not to me, which possibly makes it difficult for me to explain my thoughts. Above you explained the angst derived from others based on a few of your actions and beliefs. You did it quite well.
I suppose I cannot undestand political positions that are not logical nor necessarily convince others that their positions are not arguably sound. Why is diversity our strength? How can we allow millions of illegals from absolute corrupt shitholes in this country and expect them to suddenly take on American culture? Are we really better off with Samilis, Afghans and Haitians? Their cullture is barbaric. How is socialism good if it has never worked anywhere on the planet? Tens of thousands of Americans have died from poisonous drugs so why would anyone want to defend Venezuelan operators of drug boats? Why would we want to arrest them and give them a lawyer instead? The system has been swamped, therefore how do we give “due process” to millions of illegals? If they are here illegally and that can be proven, why is that not enough due process to deport?

Tom, you mention white culture. White culture began with the creation of Adam man. Appears to be the last (race) created, approximately 7,000 years or so ago. The world was already populated when Adam man was created. The genesis of the white culture began with Adam. The word Adam comes from the Hebrew word pronounced “aw-dam” and means to show blood (in the face) i.e. flush or turn rosy: be (dyed, made) red (ruddy). As an aside, blue eyes only go back about 7,000 years. I cannot make this stuff up nor do I read anything into it other than this is what happened. I am not a historian nor a geologist. I was first exposed to these facts many years ago when I was told that a lot of biblical “facts” are not facts but are plain intentional mis-directions. I tried to disprove them and could not so they have stuck with me all these years. Because people are different does not make them good or bad. Whether a person is good and bad is up to the individual. It is who is behind the curtain pulling all the strings that matters.
Over time one drop here, one drop there and pretty soon you got a tsunami.

I lived in Los Alamos for a while near-on thats-too-many-years-ago. My lasting impression – right or wrong – is that most of the anglos I ran into didn’t really like America or most Americans; most of the hispanics thought the right side won the Mexican War, were proud Americans, and resented “wetbacks” (their term). Sounds like not much has changed.
