The Great War Was the Great Error

It’s not often I suggest an outside article but this estimated-40-minute-read article by David Stockman is worthy of your time and contemplation.
I dislike live links on the main page so replace “dot” with a period to reach the article.

Woodrow Wilson was likely the worst president of the 20th century; his actions led to the others.

“The Great War Was the Great Error” by David Stockman was, in my opinion misleading. Why would any modern industrialized nation with huge military forces seek to confront America on the open battlefield by attacking her when that same nation has hundreds of thousands of if not millions of covert troops already in place within the borders of America. I speak of China. China is here, China has one goal and that is to become the worlds most powerful nation and once they give the go ahead to their covert operatives we will be left wondering what the hell happened. It is obvious that Mr. Stockmam has never never read “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu. Enough said.
I wouldn’t say misleading so much as speculation regarding the modern consequences. The history Stockman presents is valid; perhaps he presents only a suggestion of what-if for “now”.
I suspect China has enough internal problems that an effective strike against the US would not be well-coordinated, internal agents or not.
I’d be more worried about the demoncrats and muzzies. I doubt there will be “battles”; I’d expect more of guerilla action. For that matter, if – IF – one were to attack “them” – enemies foreign and domestic – with the intent of a preemptive strike, what would be the primary target?
Their “target” is our power grid. That has been known for some time now.
Who allowed and invited the Chinese (and many others) in?
If every foreign person in the US was to vanish today, the enemy would still be here.
Do you understand this Joe?
I’m speaking of “us” going after “them”; internal and domestic – a true civil war (the last one wasn’t a civil war). Say you have the power with no consequences. The domestic enemy is amorphic and widespread. What would be your primary target?
Your skin is your uniform.
Very naive.
