How is it that people in ID get their mail before people in IN?
(don’t you dare say “alphabetical!)
You must live closer to a big city than we do.
Our’s comes about 4-5pm most days, that is, if it comes at all.
Been unpredictable the past couple years.

Prior to that we had the same independent contractor lady since 2006 when we moved here. She’d go through a Ford Explorer about every 3 years. You could tell when she would soon be getting another one by how loud the muffler was.

Now, we don’t know when it will be delivered or by whom.

I live 2 miles from a small town and 8 miles from the larger county seat. Small town telephone number and school district, but the mail comes from the county seat at varying times, but never before 2 PM. When my dad and great uncle started the business here on the farm they put a mailbox half a mile south on the state highway so they would have a Small Town address, and early mail service. Now I have to drive half a mile to get the mail, but it’s always there before 11 AM.
