Not sure who CW is but it shows “our” side can be just as tolerant as ‘their” side. Above pic shows why one keeps the snow shovel inside the door.
I was snowed in for 6 days during the Blizzard of ’78. Got through it OK. Used 2nd-floor outside door and snowshoes.
Didn’t lose internet 🙂 Cell phone didn’t work either.

In the winter of 77-78 I was stationed at Fort Campbell KY and ran a plow on the interstate and pulled a lot of vehicles out of drifts. Lotta coffee and diet pills.

I recall seeing NG tanks being used to pull semis back on the roads in SW Michigan.
-19F here in northern Michigan this morning. I remember ’78, too. Was living in Holland, MI at the time. Didn’t get plowed out for 4 days. Drifts you could walk up to get on the roof of your house.
I was in Kazoo myself. I imagine Holland would have been worse being on the lake.
When you realize the outside temp. is colder than your freezer inside.
