McDonald’s in Moscow?

Did you know that from 1990 to 2022 there were up to 850 McDonald’s restaurants in Russia?
Me neither.
Then, stupidly in my opinion, in 2022 they closed all of them at the same time because of Ukraine. Is that retarded or what?
Anyway, I was looking at the front of a McDonald’s in downtown Moscow and you know what jumped up and grabbed onto my eyeballs?

The railing.
Take a look at that railing. Can you believe it? In Russia of all places.
Here in the US that railing would be ILLEGAL. But it looks perfectly normal doesn’t it?
It has been illegal in the US for at least 30 years if installed in any type of construction that requires a building permit.
Look at the spacing between the rails. That’s at least 8″, and more than that from bottom rail to floor. That’s a killer-in-wait.
Here in the US the Universal Building Code stipulates that a 4″ diameter sphere cannot pass through any part of a railing regardless of whether it is residential or commercial.
A child or a stupid person could fall through that railing and be injured or, god forbid, be killed.
Thankfully here in the US the govt is looking out for our safety and employing righteous persons every single day to make sure the retarded around us are not filtered from the gene pool and encouraged to procreate even more idiots and by simple observation they are very successful.
BTW, this was parked next to me the other day at Speedway.
Just remembered. If the floor where the railing is installed is 6′ or higher than the floor below a rail must be installed directly on the floor to act as a (get this) “bottle stop”. lol Have you ever heard of such a thing? A rail on the floor to prevent a bottle from rolling off the edge and harming someone below.
