Decent people need no sign.
The sign is meant for indecent people, but fails because it tries to perpetuate people that shouldn’t be on the trails in the first place.

For example:
Normal people know you do not disturb 1200 pound horses, and you stay out of their way. No sign is necessary.

If you are intellectually challenged and you try to engage a large animal it may stomp a mud hole in your ass and commence to walk it dry. Thus, darwin is the great emancipator of humanity and the problem is solved.

For millennia nature has been a perfect teacher.

So much in that sign if you think through it….. including the half-dozen ‘agencies’ with logos listed at the bottom …. no doubt, all funded by your taxes (or the borrowing necessary when your taxes are not enough) ….wonder what the consulting fees for the logos alone amounted to?

Happy Fourth coming up.

Rules are not necessarily laws.

Local park near my Mom’s house had a no guns allowed sign posted at its entrance. Well dumbass that is an illegal sign. You can carry your pistol in public places. The sign was eventually taken down by the city.

The local mall tried the same thing in their parking lot. Signs eventually got taken down. No guns signs popped up at the entrances of some of the stores to the mall. As long as the signs meet code, they are legal. OK. If I go in other unmarked doors then I am not breaking the law and can roam the entire mall. On the very rare instance that I go in that mall, I use the unmarked doors.

I have a sign painted on the back entrance door to my garage. It says STEAL HERE, DIE HERE. It is just a sign, not a law, although it is fair warning.
