Nice. Makes for an easy Sunday.

Yeah, easy like sunday morning.
The only morn of the week that I don’t eat fruit or drink a V8.
Instead, eggs, or oatmeal, or my legendary monster pancake.

Today it was 2 theen slices of honey ham slapped into a buttered 8″ fry pan.
Then 2 farm fresh eggs were whipped to a froth in a bowl with a tad of water for steam, then dumped on top of that ham, then the glass lid applied.
The waiting is the hardest part, as Tom Petty used to say.

So I do some kitchen clean up other little nuffins then it time for the next step. Salt, peppa, and a sprinkling dehydrated minced chives and lastly, a slab of Havarty cheese. Cut the heat, install the lid and do the Tom Petty again. Meanwhile the Pfalzgraff Yorktown plate goes in the micro for 30 seconds. By then that havarty has turned to lava and my teefs is salivatin’.

Plate it up and head for the living room. It’s 8:45am and that old childhood favorite, “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” is playing on METV and I’m 7 years old all over again.

I install my boots, grab that plate, then fall under the spell of Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler as the lure a Messican Jaguar (el Tigre) into a net and consume my self made epicurean delight.
