The justice system now is a farce, everyone loses except the gov’t employees involved.
Justice must be served on the spot by the people involved.
Metcalf’s twin brother was right there, why didn’t he instantly kill the attacker?
I related an incident before here, that occurred with my own brother and me at a school sporting event. It was after a little league game and a kid was beating my brothers ass. Sitting on his chest and punching him repeatedly in the face and head. I saw it from a distance, ran over there, picked up a large rock, and slammed the attacker on the side of the head. He immediately stopped hitting my brother as blood poured out of his head. My brother and me jumped on our bikes and hauled ass.
The Metcalf’s were 17, I was 11 and my brother was 10.
Now, 60 years later I still believe the same. If someone attacked my wife, even though I am 71 now, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second and I would summon from the depths whatever it took to stop the attack on the spot.
Gov’t justice be damned – as it has no vested interest.
Notorious! One of my all time favorite films! Thanks for posting the link!
Snakepit Kansas
I’m stuck in DC for 24 hours. Flight got cancelled while sitting on the runway. I’m at a hotel doing laundry. I extended my stay in Boston a day to help with booth tear down at a trade show. That extra day used up my last set of undershirts and skivvies. Oh well, I will go home with clean clothes now.
I saw communist Bernie Sanders walking through the airport yesterday. What a weasel. Saw Trey Goudy also in the AA lounge. Went over and fist bumped him. Told him our family loved him! He said “I really appreciate that!” Some woman was at the AA rebooking desk bawling. I put my hand on her shoulder and she ended up hugging me and crying all over me.
I did not want to eat out AGAIN last night so I found a little grocery store about 500 meters away. Got some cheap wine and a TV dinner of what looked like chicken and noodles but turned out to be garbanzo beans and rice. Man I have enough gas currently to power a small city. Also got a bag of beef jerky which I will throw in my bag and gnaw on during my flight home.
Jean,
Thank you for asking, and yes, it is. I am toward the end of my career and probably won’t work much more than another year. God gave me many experiences that are all coming into play right now in my sales role. I pray to glorify Him in all I do.
Rolaids, rolls of Pepto Bismol, packets of Gas X, I carry one of each. Each bag, suitcase, computer case, or purse has one life saving roll or the other. You should know this by now . . .:-)

His parents didn’t do too bad either

Not only would you do it, that is what should be expected of a real man. When you have to engage, damn the torpedos.
Go back.
To when life actually meant something.
When you were really tired at the end of the day.
And you had a sense of accomplishment.

Headed for LA on Monday…
Very interesting comment, Snake. Also made me laugh. Safe travels!
Is all this traveling normal for you, SK?
