Seems pretty mild so far, with a lot of rain. That will change though as we go forward, into more heat and dryness. By the end of Aug I’ll be looking forward to some winter. Funny how that works.

Exited a plane in Phoenix last week and it was hot. Real hot.
It’s a lovely 71 degrees here in O-HI-O.
I won’t whine until it gets over 85.
High of 79 here. Nice day for a picnic on the lawn with the family. Hot dogs, sweet tea and homemade ice cream with fresh strawberries.

Meanwhile, the temp here yesterday was 97 and forecast to be in the 90’s all week long.
Yep. predicted for my part of the world as well (SW Idaho). It’s predicted to get up to 60 today – it’s 59 out as I write this … at almost 5PM in what’s usually the hot part of the day. It was in the 100s last week. And will be again soon I imagine.
Too cloudy to see if there’s snow on the peaks nearby.
